Hi Just joined the forums and wondered what wheels are peple using. I'm using a Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP. Its what I used when I used to play GTR2 on PC. I wana upgrade as this wheel aint compatible (it works but not recognised as a wheel).
Anyone any ideas for an upgrade. My budget is about £100. Id love a G25 but the girlfriend will see her backside even if i spend £100 on a wheel.
Cheers

Having been out of the loop of steering wheel development until recently lol there are a couple of wheels that i can think of Logitech Driving Force GT It's £119 directly from Logitech but i would of thought you could get it sub £100 Logitech Driving Force Pro £90 from Game but probably available cheaper Logitech G25 You can get it for around £140 There is a number of options out! What put's me off buying a wheel is the thought of it not working with all games, having said that i spose there are only a few games worth playing with a wheel.

I have the Logitech Driving Force Pro, and this wheel works fine with all driving games on the PS3 and PC! I think the different between the Driving Force GT and the Driving Force Pro is, that there are more buttons at the Driving Force GT.

Adz, are you sure there’s nothin you can do to appease your girlfriend? A night out, a good meal, or a special present?
I know its a wedge, but you won’t regret buying the G25. It’s the DK mate!

Every1 tells me to buy this wheel but I dont know. Maybe I will but I wana see one and play on 1 before I invest. And I think a special present would do the trick. Anyone know wheres the cheapest (but reliable) place to get one. Cheers

Any updates? I have the Logitech DFP wheel. Im looking at getting the new Logitech but am still on the fence on that one. I thought about creating my own but Im not sure how the PS3 will handle that. Id really like to just change the steering wheel to a MOMO.

I read somewhere (AVForums i think) that there is a slight advantage using a steering wheel over a controller? And it should be stated in the fastest lap times online so people know what was used.
Surly this isn't true? I mean yes the steering will be less erratic but it cant, say make you break any later to improve on time. Or accelerate any smoother.
If it is no wonder i cant keep up lol
