Guys and FerrariPro,
until recently I had always been playing with the in-car view for maximum realism without bothering trying other views, and with some cars I have noticed some not very good engine sounds, with my biggest disappointment being the FXX.
UNTIL yesterday, when I accidentally switched to bonnet view, and guess what??? the FXX suddenly sounded absolutely FANTASTIC!!!
I've then gone through all the different views, and the in-car one is clearly frustrating.
I've done the same test with a few other cars, and the result is pretty similar, with different extent.
Please, can you give your opinions on the in-car engine sounds? Which view gives you the more realistic sound and for which car?
Hopefully, there will be enough feedback so that for the next update we could suggest a few mods.
Mine would be to simply have the bonnet sound for the FXX cockpit view...

What bothers me way more is the graphical glitches when you have a custom livery and driving in cockpit view.
More often than not, when i start a race, i can see some black textures appearing and glitching around the car when in cockpit view only. Most of the time i change views, comeback and then it's ok but this really is some big annoyance.

When mirroring the side panels in the vinyl editor, it still sometimes doesnt flip certain logos.
Basically doenst mirror it perfctly, highly annoying!!

heh just had a good one. Racing at Infineon on the american challenge. Got pole, won the first race and was leading the second race, in the rain. Quite a close, fun race as well.. 2 laps til finish, something pops on the corner of the screen.. Somehow I got bumped into 2nd place, without actually being overtaken. The UI then told me I was 4.30 minute behind 1st place! Nice.. I kept going anyway, 2nd place is better than having to restart the whole challenge.. So 2 laps go on and I'm fully concentrated on keeping 2nd place. Then 2 laps more.. At which point I thought - HEEEEEY.. wasn't this supposed to have ended already?? I was then on lap eight the the clock was still on 00:00, but the Final Lap just wasn't meant to be. I decided to let someone overtake me and see if it would help, but after 2 more laps on 3rd place, I decided to quit. Oh well. BY UNXETAS STICK EM IN HERE GUYS! |

Frustrating the hell out of me ive restarted the race 4 times now  As soon as one of the AI drivers in the back of the pack causes a yellow flag. They appear in the pits & seem to claim 1st place |

cockpit view almost made me return the game altogether. The overhead or bonnet view is great. Now i just wished n. america could get the trophy patch.

At Mont Tremblant and California while racing O/L, my Logitech GT wheel had NO FFB. So far these are the only tracks where this has happened. This has not happened offline. At Mont Tremblant, there were two of us and at Cali. there were three of us. My setting for FFB at both tracks was for medium FFB.

I won the European challenge last night, I won at least once at each circuit but never won both at all circuits but still got the following trophy.
034 G Circuits Maximus Complete the European Challenge with Maximum points.
I'd play it quick and get the trophy while it is easy, before they fix this bug.
Take your time and slowly play this mode when you feel like, because it is an easy silver trophy.
