Where does one obtain this first patch you are speaking of.
Also are there major issues with like that noted by the poster whose patch does not work?

I have a feeling that the American release may already have the first patch on the blu-ray. I don't know for sure but if it's not available for download for the north american release i can only assume it's already on there. If you look at the content's of the first patch maybe there will be some options or changes you can see in your copy.
